Who

is Rupi?

I start most sessions with:

“How can I help? Where are we going today?”

I ask this because therapy with me is about you, your pace, your needs, and your story. What you bring into the room may change from session to session, and my role is to walk beside you as you make sense of what feels heavy, confusing, or complex.

Above all, I’m here to be with you.

Growth can feel challenging before it feels easier. You already hold the pieces of your life, your emotions, memories, relationships, and questions. Together, we explore them in a way that feels grounding, honest, and empowering.

“It’s not uncommon to find ourselves navigating many complex dynamics. That's why I'm here - to offer you dedicated support on your journey of self-discovery and growth. Together, we'll work towards uncovering the true essence of who you are and empower you to evolve into the person you aspire to be.”

As your therapist, my approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique nuances that shape our lives. In our sessions, we won't just address challenges; we'll celebrate the richness of our diverse backgrounds.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) with an M.A. in Theology: Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Martin Luther University College (WLU). I am also EMDR Certified through EMDRIA. I work within the ethical and professional standards of CRPO and EMDRIA, and I am dedicated to offering safe, competent, trauma-informed, and client-centred therapy.

PROFESSIONAL Background

My Approach

Hello!

I offer therapy that supports emotional expression, body awareness, and meaningful insight. I use a blend of approaches that helps you slow down, notice what is happening inside you, and make sense of it in a way that feels grounding and empowering.

My work is person-centred and strengths-based. This means our sessions follow your needs, your pace, and what feels most important to you. Whether you are navigating personal or work related challenges, supporting a child with behavioural concerns, moving through a major life transition, or grieving a painful loss, I join you in understanding the emotions and experiences that feel heavy or complex.

My therapy room is intentionally designed to be a warm, friendly, and confidential space where you can explore freely. Together, we look at the limitations that come from within yourself, from family systems, culture, community, or a diagnosis, and we work toward feeling more open, empowered, and aligned with your own story.

Endorsements

I offer psychotherapy to individual adults (24+)

I name this intentionally because you won’t have to translate your existence to be understood here.

Identities are layered and often hyphenated. I understand that you may be carrying expectations, values, disconnections, or questions shaped by culture, family, religion, community, and your own inner world.

Whatever you are trying to connect to, your sense of Self, your memories, your relationships, your work, your faith, I join you where you are.
