With Me

A supportive space to unpack, understand, and reconnect with yourself.

In our busy and ever-changing lives, we often face stress, judgment, and unexpected transitions that ask us to pause.

Individual psychotherapy offers a confidential space to slow down, reflect, and heal. Together, we explore what’s showing up for you; emotionally, relationally, culturally, or spiritually, and support insight, integration, and change at a pace that feels right.

I tailor therapy to each person because every individual is unique.

Depending on your needs, our work may draw from:

● Person-Centred Therapy

● Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

● Internal Family Systems (IFS)

● Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

● Narrative Therapy

● Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy

● Polyvagal / Nervous System Mapping

● Relational Therapy

● CBT / DBT / Mindfulness / Meditation

● Solution-focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Whether you prefer talk therapy or a more body-based approach such as EMDR, we work collaboratively toward healing in a way that feels natural and accessible to you.

EMDR Therapy

Process trauma and distressing memories at a deeper, nervous-system level.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps the brain process overwhelming or distressing experiences so they feel less intense and more manageable over time. EMDR supports emotional regulation, decreases reactivity, and can help people feel more grounded, less stuck, and more themselves as sessions progress.

  • Many people seek EMDR for support with anxiety, trauma, relationship or attachment wounds, grief and loss, abuse, depression, and self-esteem concerns. It can also be used to build confidence and improve performance for students, athletes, healthcare providers, public servants, and other professionals.

During EMDR, gentle bilateral stimulation is used, such as guided eye movements, tapping, or soft tones. This helps your brain organize and integrate the thoughts, emotions, images, and body sensations connected to difficult memories.

One of the unique aspects of EMDR is that you don’t need to retell every detail of your experience for it to work. Instead, the process supports your nervous system in doing the internal healing work.

Many people describe feeling more grounded, less reactive, and more themselves as therapy progresses.

  • EMDR can be offered safely and effectively online. During virtual sessions, bilateral stimulation is provided through secure EMDR platforms or guided techniques that activate the same neurological processes used in in-person sessions. Many people find virtual EMDR convenient, comfortable, and equally meaningful.
